Using Internet Marketing Forums is an extremely powerful way to build a online reputation FAST... as well as continuing to learn about Internet marketing.
 
A good Internet marketing forum is a gathering of like minded individuals interested in learning more about specific topics who contribute to the variety of theme related discussions.

You can turn a forum into a traffic generator for your own web site! If done correctly of course!

You can do this by posting on a regular basis... contributing to the discussions with considered and valuable information. Also by optimizing your posts so that they're keyword rich, so that the Search Engines will rank them highly when people search for specific information!

Post often but only when you have something worthwhile to contribute. People will know you via the quality of your posts you write. So, if every time you post you contribute something worth knowing, then the forum members will eventually recognize you as a person with integrity who has knowledge in a particular area, and they'll seek out your posts. This type of posting will give you immediate traffic to your website.

Always check for an advertising section before you start posting ads. Most all message boards do not allow advertising, Some do...so be sure to read the rules before posting. However, always use a signature line when you post. Also make sure this allowed. Most of the time when registering to a forum you'll have the opportunity to enter a few lines of text which are then added at the end of every post you make. This signature is where you can entice people to visit your site.
